SWEET HILLS ( NO GUIDE)
A bike ride along the wonderful desert road that surrounds the San Giuliano Lake, a peaceful natural oasis, paradise of many migratory birds coming from Africa. Possibility of visiting the Crypt of the Original Sin. Included: hybrid bike rental for the whole day + road book.
Duration: 3 hours. Return or Matera in Van. Entry fees not included.

BRADANO VALLEY (NO GUIDE)
From Matera to Montescaglioso by bike, along a path dotted with fruit and olive trees. The tour is enriched with the visit of the Benedictine Abbey of Montescaglioso with a break in a farmhouse for a picnic and a dip in the pool. Included: hybrid bike rental for the whole day + road book and maps + pic-nic in the farmhouse and use of the swimming pool.

ALTAMURA: BREAD AND FOCACCIA (NO GUIDE)
Cycling from Matera to Altamura, a town in Apulia famous for its characteristic Romanesque cathedral and its bread. Do not miss the tour through the alleys of the historic center, passing under the cathedral tower bell and some tasty stops, to savor a freshly baked focaccia.The tour includes cycling back to Matera, along a landscape made of beautiful wheat fields.

MURGIA TIMONE: CAVES AND GRAVINE (NO GUIDE)
A cycle along Lucanian canyons and gravine,surrounded by the scent of thyme and the bright color of the high ferule, to admire the city of Matera from another point of view and enjoy breathtaking scenery.

FROM THE STAIRS OF SASSI TO SAN NICOLA ALL’OFRA AND BATS CAVE
Mountain bike guided excursion. Going up the slopes of the Sassi districts, you reach a suburban area of the city to discover, along the crest of the Gravina, the only natural cave witness of human presence since prehistoric times and agro pastoral complexes developed on several levels.
